Discount/Coupons API exposure

Hi guys,

We have been wanting to set up an automatic system that we can use to email customers a coupon after their first purchase. I noticed neto has no functionality for this so I wanted to make something in-house. I can use the webhook to know when a new customer has made a purchase, but the API does not have the functionality to make a new coupon.

It would be great if this was added or even if something similar could be built in to neto.

Yeah, not having a discounts API makes these kinds of things hard. Its on their radar, but keeps getting pushed out. Realistically, your options are to have Maropost load a batch for you (a bit of back-and-forth), or enter them by hand, which isn't viable at any volume. One thing worth knowing if you go the batch route: once a large number are loaded (around 150+), the discount admin screen will no longer open due to request timeout, so it's worth loading in chunks rather than all at once.

There are ways to push them in programmatically at volume too. Happy to compare notes.
