Create an automated replenishment system based on sales.
Instead of manually creating transfers via Purchase order Via Transfer, the system would:
Let us select a timeframe, for example, last 1 hour, 3 hours, same day, yesterday or last 7 days
Calculate how many units were sold in that period
Check available stock in the warehouse location
Automatically generate a transfer pick list for those quantities
Example:
If we sold 5 units of a product yesterday and the warehouse has stock available, the system generates a transfer for 5 units to the shopfront.
Workflow
• System generates a warehouse pick list
• Staff scan and pick items
• Once confirmed, stock is automatically transferred from warehouse to shopfront
• No manual transfer entry required or manual receiving transfers
Optional Additions
• Minimum and maximum shelf quantities
• Ability to increase or decrease quantities incase these were manually picked
Why This Matters
Right now, replenishment is manual and easy to make mistakes.
Automating it based on actual sales would:
• Keep shelves full
• Reduce stockouts
• Save staff time
• Improve accuracy in inventory
• Increase sales
For multi-store retailers with warehouse setups, this would be a major operational improvement.
