Collapsed Mobile Menu

Hi, I'm running the storefront them and have noticed the default behaviour for the menu in mobile is to be completely expanded. Does anyone know how to make this menu behave like 99% of the mobile menu's out in the industry and have it collapsed by default and expand out with touch?

You mean the mobile menu is expanded to show all the subcategories? "Storefront" doesn't seem to support any interactivity in the mobile menu. It would require a bit of custom code to implement. The bulk of the work could be done by Bootstrap Collapse classes (https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/javascript/#collapse) but it's much more complicated if you want to be able to expand a parent category and also be able to actually click it. Often that is implemented as first click expands, second click follows the link. That will require significant custom code.

I suspect Storefront was designed for small sites that don't have too many categories.

The implementation shouldn't be too tricky. The hard part is to actually get the usability right and have the menu react the way customers are expecting. That's probably why Neto have avoided collapsing menus in that template. I'd recommend talking to @Peter Harback? (https://www.onlineretailguy.com.au/)
