Hello! Need some help with multiple warehouse locations affecting order processing.

We set up multiple warehouses for our products.

We were hoping that when stock is depleted from warehouse (A), orders will take stock from warehouse (B) as per Maropost help pages.

We are now running into an issue where when processing orders in bulk, some orders will not generate a shipping consignments due to "The order lines you are trying to process belong to another warehouse. Click here to change to warehouse (A)."

The thing is, for example, this would happen with products that never had stock added to the product for (A) and only in (B) and vice versa.

We would like to process orders in bulk in one go regardless of which warehouse the products are located. Is this possible?

@Pranay Shinde might like to get clarification on this.

My understanding is that the pick/pack/dispatch process always limits order lines to those in your current warehouse. You can't process line items at other locations without switching your location.

That probably excludes dropship warehouses, although that's a whole different kettle of fish and won't necessarily suit your setup.

Maybe you could explain your business setup more so we can look into workarounds. Are your two locations actually warehouses, or stores, or suppliers, etc? How does your order processing work, and why do you want to consign for multiple locations?
