Is there any way to disable edit on the Product Manager string grid through permissions?

I want our CSOs to be able to view product details in _cpanel but not edit them.

The following permissions enable viewing:

• See item cost in product manager
• See item price in product manager

But unfortunately also enable editing/updating through the string grid of these values.

I'm afraid Neto has almost no "read-only" controls for permissions anywhere in the cpanel. It's all or nothing for each section.
