- Problem: Any amount under $0.50 simply can not be paid, which if not cleared within 14 days will place your account into automatic system suspension.
- Solution: Immediately use same carrier/ source of the charge to create a balance above $0.50 to be included in next billing cycle.
After an additional Sendle charge of $0.11, a shipping service we infrequently use, we discovered Maropost does not allow payments of amounts below $0.50. Fair enough that's understandable due to processing cost.
All attempts to pay the overdue amount was met with 'system error', 'add payment option' (which already existed) and finally advice to 'try again later'.
Had we know the work around sooner instead of waiting for Maropost to advise the solution, account suspension would have been avoided - so here's the simple thing you need to know and what Maropost themself could not tell us.
Any charges under $0.50 will put your account into suspension.
Avoid this by using the same shipping carrier (of course of origin for the charge) to create another charge on your account which will incorporate the overdue balance and clear it.
It's that simple. Do not wait and assume the Maropost system will just hold the balance, it does not, it suspends your account.
Now we all know anything under $0.50 needs to be cleared within 14 days or system automatically suspends your account.
