Upsell doesnt appear to work?

I have Upsell turned on in the settings. Ive added an upsell products to a specific product.

When I "add to cart" for this product - I dont seem to see a Upsell pop up, showing the products ive set up for upsell.

I would expect to see a pop up after adding to cart, but i dont. Am i missing something obvious?

Display upsell page before checkout .... is ticked.

Maximum number of items in upsell list ,... set to 3

That's working for me now. Add the product to your cart, view the cart, then click Checkout. It shows you the upsell.

I think the child products were the problem. Did you have the upsell options on the parent or on a child? Whichever it was, try it the other way around.

Hi Erik,

Actual a product with no variations (aka test) shows the upsell - regardless if upsell products are the parents or children. (tested both ways)

It seems upsell doesn't work when the product in question/configured for upsell is a product with variants - regardless of whether the upsell products are parents or children.

A bug maybe??

Sorry, I don't mean the *upsell* products shouldn't be parent/child. I mean the product they are applied to. Test is a normal product, whereas Sophia is parent/child.

I assume you added the upsell products to the Sophia parent? Try applying them to a child instead.
