As a Marketer who relies on abandoned cart automation, which is an amazing way to drive revenue and orders, sometimes I have contacts who may unsubscribe on an Abandoned Cart Journey email, but down the road be interested in/opt back into receiving those types of emails again.
Another use case would be a multi day/month sequence with many emails, where a contact may accidentally unsubscribe in an early email, but realize they actually want to receive the full sequence, and that isn't possible today for unsubscribed journey contacts without having to delete the contact completely, and re-adding them to the system.
This requires multiple steps and is time consuming, and also loses the other history of what happened with that contact prior to the delete, so a way to reset the state of the contact in a journey so they can be retriggered would be helpful.
