Show variations on sitemap.xml

I want to be able to tream each of my product variations as separate URL's and SEO them accordingly. I have REDIRECT_VARIATIONS disabled and users can browse the parent and child products on separate URL's, and I can specify the page content on the individual product variations as desired. The product variation URL's do not show up automatically generated in the sitemap.xml and I have advised that it is not currently possible to show child products in the sitemap.xml It will allow me to submit a sitemap to google that includes all of my product URL's - not just the 'parent' products
