Can you add a sort condition to sort by newly created items?

It's a pain to keep searching for something. Also, we work on an automatic upload for stock control which usually happens overnight. We make the products active but not live so we can test them after the stock pulls through. It would be easy to forget to make a product live with all that happens here!
Sorting by newly created would be a great option.
