The ability to switch on/swich off Price A for any period of time for any given category or individual sku products. This feature would provide a very quick and easy way to allow a store to run a short discount coupon promotion off RRP over any category. Often Price A is lower than RRP, and most often a category will be full of individual products that are different RRP's & Price A's, so the ability to quickly switch off/switch back on Price A would allow for discount coupon promotions to be set up which will provide the consumer a better deal for a period. The discount is then taken from RRP, not Price A at checkout. From a marketing perspective, it would then be more attractive for the consumer to receive 30% XYZ, rather than 'Get an extra 10% Off XYZ'. Once discount promotion is finished, simply switch Price A back on to the category or selection of products and your usual store prices are back up.
