We have recently had a few instances where our customers have been the target of man-in-the-middle attacks. One of the things the attackers did was to modify the invoice PDF with their own bank details.
Our customers include corporations, universities and government departments. For us to have the option to add a Digital ID (either self-signed or purchased) and lock the document for editing would be highly beneficial.
Our customers will be able to have faith the document has not been tampered with and we can demonstrate we are doing everything possible to ensure a high level of cyber-security compliance.
We have seen this with invoices from our suppliers and freight providers and believe it should be a standard feature for something that has bank details and monetary values that must not be able to be edited.
