We would like the option to track multiple serial numbers on a single line item SKU in Pick and Pack.
For example, if a customer orders 10 of one item there is only an option to add a single serial number in Pick and Pack;
10 x Example Product
Serial # 12345678
Should read:
10 x Example Product
Serial # 01234567
Serial # 12345678
Serial # 23456789
& so on..
The current work around in this example is to Hold the order, then amend the invoice in to say 10 separate lines of the same SKU, then push it back to pick where you scan it for each line item.
This turns a simple order in to a multi-page invoice. Not to mention if the order is for 1,000 units!
The alternative of using the import wizard so that the order lines can be applied in bulk through a CSV is not a sensible alternative as a customer does not have access to do this.
