Hi fellow Neto users! I've just posted a request in the Ideas section asking for Neto to make it possible to export selected products only from the products list. Not being able to do this frustrates me on a daily basis and I'm sure it must be a basic feature other people would like too - so please feel free to upvote and comment on it so hopefully they do something about it!

Thanks and sorry if this isn't the point of community posts, but I really want them to take note if this is something that's important to more people than me!

Hi Rebecca,

I've just edited your post slightly to correct the URL to the idea. More than happy for you to share ideas in the forums too. The community is for all Neto users to share problems, ask questions, and impart your knowledge and experience.

The idea itself is great. If you're stuck for a solution in the meantime, give the complex export a go. You can filter by the same fields as the products page, and save it as a template to quickly run again and again.

I agree it should be possible to export filtered products.

Although the export wizard is slower, you can set it up so things are a bit quicker:

Create an export with all the fields you need and save it as a new template. Then each time you need to run it you only have to set the new filters you want.

Set the export to be emailed to you so you know as soon as it is done.

Anything that you do regularly can be scheduled to run daily/weekly/yearly so it is completely automated.

I have exports of all products as well as things like customer email lists which run on a regular schedule and are sent by FTP to our in-house server. Totally automated and always ready when I need them!
