When placing orders with our existing suppliers/distributors we usually add new products that we would like to introduce to our customers. Neto does not allow for new products to be added to PO, unless the products are already in neto. That said, if we are adding 30,40 new products it will take some time to add product descriptions, images, videos etc and as such creating products before their arrive is impossible due to time that it takes.
It would be great to be able to add new products to PO by adding suppliers SKU and product title only and making those new products inactive, until we receive the stock. Once the stock arrives, we can populate the rest of the product data and make those products active. This would be the only way for us to use PO. As it stands, although we have an inventory component available to us, we are still unable to create PO as we, almost always add new products to our existing orders.
Another limitation with PO orders is that there are products that we buy in bulk (i.e. a box of reusable bags) which we sell individually. We have multiple sku for these products yet the supplier has only one sku (box) containing multiple different bags. This is causing an issue as we are unable to add those products to PO.
