OVERVIEW
In this summary we’ll list the major release changes that have taken place in Maropost Commerce Cloud over the past two months, covering releases 6.209.0 through 6.216.0.
Along with the changes noted here, the developers have been a working on several smaller fixes and planning for upcoming changes. They’ve also been busy finalising some exciting new features we’ll be announcing over the coming weeks.
FEATURE
- Added facility to the Sendle shipping integration to make use of Sendle’s 250gm package option (previously the smallest package option was 500gm)
- Added the ability to export the Last Updated field to the Product Export Wizard
FIX
- Fixed an issue where international orders with one product would potentially return an error related to Customs settings
- Fixed an issue where combining an order with another order would leave the original order that is being merged empty. The order being merged will now be deleted as per settings.
- Fixed an issue for orders with multiple consignments where not all the tracking numbers were being sent to the customer
- Fixed an issue with Statement PDF generation that was causing the process to take longer to complete then necessary
- Fixed an issue where viewing an eBay Listing or eBay Listing Rules Template in control panel could occasionally result in a 500 software error
- Fixed an issue when viewing the Customer Comments page would time out if there were a large number of existing customer comments to be loaded and displayed
- Fixed an issue where clicking on the initial label would prevent printing Open Freight Multi article consignments
- Fixed an issue with the simple product export wizard would use the UPC1 field rather than the UPC field
- Fixed an issue where uploading tracking to an unapproved order would cause an error. Tracking can now be uploaded to unapproved orders as expected.
- Fixed an issue during product export where the @upc@ B@SE tag was not exporting the data from the UPC fields
- Fixed an issue during Shipping Consignment auto generation process where Aramax would occasionally be selected as the shipping service rather than using the cheapest available delivery service
- Fixed an issue with eBay where the UPC1 field was being used as for UPC/EAN Fallback even when the field was empty. The first available UPC/EAN on the product is now applied instead.
- Fixed an issue where, under rare circumstances, the shipping postcode was not being sent to Stripe, which would prevent a customer from completing checkout.
- Fixed an issue with some invoice templates where the prices could show with additional tax applied
- Fixed an error that showed when listing a product to eBay after mapping SEO Page heading to eBay Title
- Fixed an issue with the UpdateItem API where only the Product Category content type could be assigned
- Fixed an issue with Rewards Programs where customer balance was not showing on customer card if a rewards program was set up to use AUD instead of points
- Fixed an issue on orders where the displayed weight of kitted products was showing not calculating correctly when multiple quantities were present on the orderline
IMPROVEMENTS
- Moved majority of the Amazon sales channel integration to use Amazon’s SP-API
- Improved caching of location functions to improve performance
- Updated to allow eBay specifics to be managed external through third party tools outside of Maropost Commerce Cloud
- Updated the bulk import template for 301 Redirects with current notes/instructions
- Made improvements to the Amazon integration’s installation and settings pages
- Webpayments option is now available as an option during initial Stripe configuration
- Made changes to shipping so that if the carrier live shipping rates API does not provide a Delivery Time estimate then the Delivery Time from the manual Shipping Rates Table will be used if entered
- Additional checks have been added to ensure Restock Alert Emails are sent when required.
- Made changes to the UpdateItem API function to allow Parent SKU to be cleared via API
- Made changes to the UpdateItem API function to allow Promo Start Date and Promo End Date fields to be cleared via API
- Made changes to the UpdateItem API function to allow SEO Page Title, SEO Meta Keywords, SEO Meta Description, SEO Page Heading, and SEO Canonical URL fields to be clear via API
- Increased the history limitation from 1000 days (approx. 3 years) to 2000 days (approx. 5 years) when exporting the Forecast Demand report
- Added performance warning message to Forecast Demand Report Export when attempting to export more than 1000 days (approx. 3 years) of historical data
- Added error message to Forecast Demand Report Export when attempting to export over 2000 days (approx. 5 years) worth of data, and automatically set the value to 2000 days.
- Fixed an issue where Shopify orders were being allocated to the default Customer Group. Shopify orders now allocate to the mapped group.
- Made refinements to the Stock Allocation Report to improve performance and speed, especially when viewing and exporting the report.
- Updated import functions to allow import of files saved with BOM encoding
- Added ability to set the Service Item flag on products via import and API
DEPRECATIONS
- Removed the “Once” payment option from Maropost Commerce Cloud
