Currently the 'Date Required' field gets populated with the 'Date Placed' from all 3rd Party channels (i.e. eBay, Amazon order). Therefore, we cannot use the 'Date Required' field to actually hold a 'Date Required' or 'ETA Given' type value. As all the 3rd Party orders are going to have an incorrect date. Therefore, the field is totally useless, unless you don't use 3rd party channels.

Secondly, we want Neto to add a date that matches the "delivery estimate" of the shipping method selected. This is possible to do, but the above issue with 3rd Party orders makes this change pointless until that is fixed.

With this change, we can monitor what the ETA given to customers was, and we can automate to check whether a parcel is delivered late.

Amazon is going to eat us alive if you don't help us be able to do the above, just like they would.
