Please allow merchants to be able to pass on the full cost to their customer when they choose to pay via a payment method that merchants are allowed to charge a surcharge for.� Most institutions charge merchants a percentage PLUS a dollar amount, e.g. 1.5% plus $0.30 per transaction. Neto only allows merchants to set a percentage charge for a surcharge on any payment method and not the additional dollar amount.� This change will allow merchants to more easily comply with the recent changes to the surcharging rules and recoup the actual cost of the transaction for them.
Also, when customers do not make payment at the time of placing the order, they are then able to login to their account, make payment and avoid any surcharge, despite the payment method being set up with a surcharge. Once again, this change will ensure merchants can fully recoup the cost of the transaction for them.
