- we buy a 30m roll of hose. We sell a meter of hose. We need to be able to kit 1 meter of hose as 0.03 x 30m rolls of hoses
- we buy a pallet of growing media, a bunch of pots, a pump, a tank and make up nutrients. We need to kit a package/kit made up of 0.05 bags, 6 pots, 1 pump, 1 tank, and add our made up nutrient which we prefer not to track but could if needed.
- We buy a pack of 100 irrigation fittings, and sell 1 at a time. We need to be able to kit a decimal point, and reorder when we are down to 30 fittings or exactly 0.3 of a pack
- We sell potassium per kilo but buy 25kg bags
- I have about 200 more things that mean I have to stocktake daily.... daily.... daily.... OMG... what a waste of time when a computer should be able to count!
