To resolve the current Hardware Utility and POS Integration issue, please follow the below guide:
NOTE: For shared hardware setups, only re-install the hardware utility on the master machine that is physically connected to the printing and POS hardware.
The Retail Express Hardware utility needs to be re-run on each computer that is connected to receipt printers or Integrated EFTPOS. This is done by launching and completing the Retail Express Hardware Utility which will already be installed on your PC. Locate it within the Window Start Menu, or from the icon on your Windows Desktop.

Upon opening the utility, click the "Launch Configuration Wizard" button to proceed through the next steps.
- Retail Express Client ID: Find this within Retail Express by navigating to Help & Support > What's my Client ID.
- If you are unable to proceed past the "hardware-friendly name", please ensure the name has not been used before. a . or - can be used to quickly resolve this error.
- For all Tyro users, please ensure that when choosing an integrated EFTPOS option in step 14, select Tyro and proceed with launching the Tyro Terminal Adapter (blue button). Within the Tyro Terminal adapter wizard click the "Verify Key" option, then choose the ok and close options to close the adapter wizard. You may then proceed with the remainder of the Hardware Utility.
- Once the utility is complete, ensure you log out of POS from the POS home page.
- Close your web browser, re-open it, then log back in from the blue login screen.
- Ensure your Eftpos terminal is in "integrated mode" if previously set to "standalone".
