What are the Current Partner Commission Structures?
There are currently two types of commission structures available for partners:

Design and Solution partners are offered a monthly ongoing commission based on the subscription value for the client. The commission rate is 20% of the subscription revenue for the lifetime that the customer is with Maropost Commerce.

Referral partners, where there is no management of the customer, are provided with a one-off $500.00 payment for new customers who start trading on the platform.

As a Maropost Commerce Partner, how do I receive my commission payments?
Commissions are calculated at the end of every calendar month.
- If you have an eligible referral, your commission will be paid directly to your PayPal account and payments are made in the last week of the month.
- Commission payments are made via PayPal only.
To check your PayPal email address:

From the Welcome to your Partner Portal Home page, click on your Username (next to the Search bar).

Select My Account from the dropdown menu.

Scroll to the Commission & Payment Details section to see which PayPal email address has been associated with your account.

To change your PayPal email address, contact the Maropost Commerce Accounts team with the updated payment information.
What Constitutes an Eligible Referral?
You will earn a commission bonus for referrals from customers who:
- Have used your unique referral URL to start their Maropost Commerce trial or created a store from within the Partner Tools page
- Have never previously had a Maropost Commerce account
- Have registered to a paid subscription
- Have commenced trading (processing and shipping orders) via the Maropost Commerce Control Panel
- Have not undertaken a previous trial
- Have a live domain for their online store (if the customer is not on a POS-only or eBay-only plan)
Can I get paid for previous commissions before I joined the program?
The Maropost Commerce program tracks referrals that are new to Maropost Commerce. We cannot retrospectively apply payments for customers that have already signed up to Maropost Commerce.
Commission Payments
Commissions are calculated on the subscription fee that the merchants pay to Maropost Commerce. The commissions are calculated from the value of the previous months' subscription fee" and the merchant must pay Maropost Commerce for the before commission payments are made.
There are factors that may affect recurring commission payments:
- Changes to the merchants subscription base plans including upgrades and downgrades.
- If a merchant pays an annual subscription, then commissions will be paid monthly, on a pro-rata basis.
- Commissions are calculated net of any discounts or credits that are applied to the merchants account.
- If a merchant fails to make a payment on an invoice, then your commissions are not paid until the payment is successfully processed.
There is no upper limit to the amount of commissions you can earn, however you must meet the minimum criteria of referring a “revenue generating activity” in the preceding 12 months to continue receiving commissions.
Revenue Generating Activity
A "Revenue Generating Activity" refers to a partner referring a new customer to Maropost Commerce that has taken up a paid subscription.
