Has anyone found a more affordable alternative to Findify for a Neto / Maropost Commerce Cloud store?
I actually like Findify and the functionality it offers, but it has been around for many years. With the rapid development of AI and newer search technologies, I would have thought that good eCommerce search solutions should now be becoming more accessible and affordable, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses.
I recently contacted Maropost about improving our website search so that child product names, SKUs, colours, variation values and search keywords can be searchable, while still keeping child products neatly nested under their parent products on category pages.
I was advised that the standard Neto system cannot do both, and that we would need either customisation or Findify.
As Findify is owned by Maropost, and we already pay increasing fees for our Maropost Commerce Cloud store, I do wonder why a more affordable Findify package or integration cannot be offered to existing Neto customers.
Has anyone found a good, more affordable alternative? Or had custom search functionality developed for their Neto store?
I’d be very interested to hear what other store owners are using and what it costs.
