If a SKU already exists, and you dont realise, especially if done from an import quite some time ago. It gets very annoying putting all the data in, clicking continue, and the system tells you the SKU already exists, and all the data you have put in is just gone. I usually try to check for existing SKU's before adding new products, but sometimes you may have not added/removed a filter and you dont find it. There needs to be the option come up to say, "XYZ SKU already exists, would you like to merge this entry with the existing SKU", or something of that nature. Then all the information, description formatting, etc, that you have spent time doing is not lost.
