A more straightforward export experience - we'd like to export by search category for a 'simple export' on the View Products page. (using the 'export' button at the top of the page)�
When viewing your product list, you can filter your list, by name, sku, active, inactive, category etc, price range, customer group, etc. It is very powerful filter. And so in the end, you can filter down the products to a custom filtered list of your liking.
Problem: In this area of viewing your product list, there is a button to 'export'. So you would assume once you have filtered the list, and hit export, it would export a neat filtered list of products of your desire. Thus saving time doing this on a huge excel sheet, which actually could be harder to do or take you longer. Yet, all it does is export a full product list. It does not export a filtered list.
Fix: This export button in this area should export your filtered list of products. Or at least provide option to export the filtered list, or export full list. That way, you can download the filtered list.
Why: Doing updates to products, you may want to download them to excel, do a bulk change which is quicker than in Neto, and then re-upload. But you may want to filter down by a particular category, colour, active or non active, etc, and have a neat list of products you want to change via excel. This way, you can filter using Neto's advanced filtering capabilities, then export just that list. Go ahead with your changes in excel for that list and then upload just those products in which you have changed.
This could possibly make the export quicker, as your list will be smaller than a full product download.
