No Spaces in credit card number.

I get approximately 1 customer a month call me up and complain that the checkout wont let them enter their full credit card number. The underlying issue is customers often try to enter their credit card number with the spaces like it appears on an actual card. ie: 1233 4323 5434 5434. This doesn't work and customers get confused why the checkout wont let them enter their whole number. (the credit card field seems to have a character limit) I assume if i'm getting 1 call a month about this "problem" it probably occurs to a lot more people. I would think most people would be able to work it out themselves but I'm sure some customers leave in frustration. It seems like it should be pretty easy to fix this issue. Form Validation?
