We have received multiple fraudulant orders - a number of other stores have too no doubt.

We now call to verify customers orders if they are over a certain amount - however this delays the process and cannot be 100% accurate. As customers can leave incorrect numbers accidentally.

If AU customers are able to (or required to) verify their mobile number when an order is over a certain amount, that in itself should be enough to prevent fraudulant orders as confirmation of the order must be received via a personally identifiable means not just their credit card - because Australians cannot obtain a mobile number without ID which means the mobile can be used to track them down if issues arise in the future and the card turns out to have been stolen.
