Unable to upload a CSV with semi-colon while performing the import to delete contacts from the account.

What testing have been done & list the steps
When we try and upload the .csv with semi-colon, it just highlights the section in red and does not give any error message as to why import is not working.
If we perform a standard list import using the same csv file with semi-colon, we are able to upload the data to the list.
When changed the ,csv file to .txt, the delete import worked as well: https://app.maropost.com/accounts/4/lists/98530/contacts
Contacts were deleted with .txt file with semi-colon separator.
Raising an enhancement request on client's behalf to have this feature updated in sync with the way list import works when used with semi-colon.
Please assist.
